Anna is a highly experienced and dedicated Speech and Language Therapist with a history of working across a wide variety of client groups mainly in the paediatric field but also with adults with learning difficulties.
For the last thirteen years Anna has been working as a Speech and Language Therapist for the NHS in Northamptonshire Healthcare Foundation Trust (NHFT). Prior to this she began her career as a Speech and Language Support Practitioner working in a wide range of mainstream and special schools and also within a Designated Special Provision for children with Downs Syndrome and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Anna is registered with RCSLT, ASLTIP and the HCPC. Anna has worked in the NHS and private sector.
Anna is passionate about her role and will focus on helping the client to communicate using a Total Communication Approach. Anna is dedicated and will work hard to provide an exceptional service, this includes working in collaboration with the parents and the wider multidisciplinary team around the client.

Anna works with a deeply person-centred approach to her therapy. Anna empowers the client and alongside this she guides the parents, carers and other adults involved in the child's care always keeping them informed of the most tailored and evidence based techniques that will benefit them. Anna has worked within the following fields:
Anna is known to be extremely perceptive and sensitive to her client's needs and has the ability to work swiftly to build up a good rapport with the children alongside gaining the trust of their parents/guardians. Anna works hard to provide a thorough accurate initial assessment; including a full case history followed by tailored advice including both direct and indirect speech and language therapy whichever is deemed appropriate. Finally Anna is highly experienced in delivering advice and training to parents/guardians and small groups of school/nursery staff.
Anna has a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Human Communication, Speech and Language Therapy and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Sociology with Third World Development.
